The Black Sea is an inland sea of the Atlantic Ocean basin. Bosphorus connects it to the Marmara Sea, then through the Dardanelles (these passages are often called the Black Sea straits) to the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. Kerch Strait connects the Sea of Azov. From the north into the sea cuts deep the Crimean peninsula. On the surface of the Black Sea water passes the boundary between Europe and Asia Minor.

Arkhipo-Osipovka (Arhipka) is a resort on the Black Sea shore, with a population of about 8000 people. It is located at a distance of 55 km from Gelendzhik, 15 km from the village Dzhubga, 120 km from Krasnodar and 180 km from the Olympic Sochi.

Sochi held XXII Winter Olympic Games in 2014 and since that time, the city began to take even more visitors from all over the world.
